We utilize methods based on reaction time to measure the subconscious reward signals emitted by a brand which then can be individually reinforced, enhanced, or altered. Even for controlling marketing strategies, it is especially important to incorporate implicit values in addition to questions surrounding brand images or awareness - the true essence of a brand lies hidden within the implicit realm of our psyche.

The measurement of reaction time is primarily based on how strongly a brand or specific product is associated with certain terms such as, "autonomy" or "excitement". For brand testing we show respondents the brand logo together with a term on the screen. As quickly as possible, the respondent decides whether this term fits the brand by pressing the appropriate key. Very quick reactions illustrate implicit, unreflected associations. The data collected from implicit brand analysis establishes the foundation for Brand Fit Testing.
